Who's on the team?
1. Customer
The customer is typically a High Street retailer, an e-tailer or distribution operator, planning to enhance their storage operation, as part of their new store or refit program. The customer needs a partner that is capable of managing the total process from concept through to installation.
2. Key Account Manager (KAM)
The KAM is the active link between the customer and Link 51, as well as being the customer’s number one contact. The KAM heads up the business unit assigned to facilitate the customer’s requirements, and is responsible for the customer and for the continuous management of the project.
3. Key Account Supervisor
The account supervisor supports the account manager, undertaking surveys, managing site programs, attendance at site meetings, liaising directly with the customer and their appointed contractors.
4. Designer
The designer is responsible for designing and specifying the customer’s requirements, space and capacity planning arrangements for each store or location. All drawings will be subject to client approval and will comply with the exact storage requirements of the customer.
5. Technical Designer
The technical designer will ensure that multi-tier, mobile or mezzanine storage systems meet with the relevant building and planning regulations.
6. Contracts Manager
The contracts manager will facilitate the build program, working closely on site with the main and peer contractors, and the Link 51 installation team, to ensure the storage fit out adheres to site program, is delivered on time and on budget.
7. Installation Technician
The Installation technicians will install the storage equipment, attending site to program dates, undertaking relevant inductions, the technicians will hold SEIRS and CSCS accreditation. The installation team will manage all build aspects including waste accrued on site by Link 51
8. Manufacturing and Operations
The customer’s requirements will be supported by the UK’s largest storage equipment manufacturing organisation delivering unrivalled levels of product, expertise and capacity.
